How to Open your Battle Ball®

So you’ve ordered your own Battle Ball® and now it’s come in the mail!

Before ripping into the box, take a look at these steps. Although opening the box seems like a simple task, it’s important that you follow these steps to ensure your new Battle Ball makes its way out of the packaging safe and ready for action.

Step 1: Use Scissors to Cut the Tape on Top

BattleBlog1 This step is important because if you take a razor and go right for the center of the box you could accidentally cut through the Battle Ball’s plastic material.

There’s nothing worse than getting excited about something, only to have it not work properly. So use scissors and NOT a razor to cut the tape on top.

Step 2: Open the top flaps and cut the plastic protector off BattleBlog2Once you open the top two flaps of the box use scissors to cut the plastic protector open. Make sure when you cut that you are only cutting the plastic protector strip and not any of the inside packaging material.

Step 3: Use your hands to remove the shrink wrap BattleBlog3 Now that the box has been safely opened, you can remove the Battle Ball and take the surrounding shrink wrap off using your hands. It is crucial that you use your hands, and not a sharp object because the shrink-wrap is pressed so closely to the Battle Ball itself, that using a sharp object could puncture the material of the Battle Ball.

Step 4: Lay your Battle Ball flat for 45 minutes before inflating BattleBlong4 Now that your Battle Ball is out of its box don’t just inflate it right away! Your Battle Ball is still tightly compacted from shipping. In order to “relax the plastic” and keep the seams from ripping, we recommend laying out your Battle Ball stretched flat on the ground for at least 45 minutes.
